The Estafette A/B is a 500 cc bike, weighing 170 kilo's, and it has a top speed of 107 km/h. It has a long-stroke sidevalve engine, max. rpm 4200.

If you drive around town, maintain town legal speeds, and stay in 2nd gear, you'll find the sound level just bearable (if you're over 6, below you'll probably start crying, provided the street is narrow enough...) not to mention the vibration level. A rearview mirror is useless here..

The bike is surprisingly nimble, even with me on it.. It has only 14 hp, but i managed to shake off a few much more modern bikes on a very bumpy and winding road. Just lay it flat and make that 90 degree turn. You'll plow the footrests through the tarmac, but what the hell, it was built for doing just that, and wouldn't it be a waste to polish it up and put it up for display, never riding it anymore.
No need to worry about rust either, the bike has its built-in rust -prevention-by-keeping-everything-well-oiled-system, though I figure this is some sort of side-effect of the design, and not really a design feature.
