A couple of days ago I received the following email:
Hi,
I have a mostly complete and restored Gillet Herstal 500 cc for sale.
Do you know of any people looking for these quite unusual MC's
Most parts rechromed and repainted in very good condition.
(you probably know the cost of rechroming, and it's very well done)
New tires and tubes (from Vintage tyres, no old dry stuff) but i need of
new spokes.
Missing is only the original handlebar and the gear wheel for the
generator (which is new)
The bike comes along with a number of extra parts including oil tank,
carburators, hubs, head lamp housing and engine and gear box details.
